Commissions

STEP 1 - References

Email me your preferred flower name or list of names including:

  • Quantities

  • Colours

  • Any particular requirements for height and size. I usually make my flowers true-to-life in size, but if you’re looking for a vine or a particularly short/long stem I can certainly accommodate.

  • Date required (the more time the better please)

The more reference imagery you can send me the better. Screenshots will do perfectly! Or better still…Botanical names! These are a real help if you’re wanting a very specific variety of something.

Also have a look at my website on the Gallery page, and on my Instagram to find something you love there. I am happy to replicate things I’ve already made in most cases, and I have many hundreds of bead colours to choose from so you can be specific in your preferred colours!

I’ll need all of this information to send you an accurate quote.

STEP 2 - Q&A + Confirmation

QUESTIONS: Once I’ve received your email, I’ll reply within a few days with any questions. I’m confident in my abilities to make most plants, but if for any reason I don’t think I can I’ll be sure to let you know.

QUOTES: Once we’ve chatted through the scope of what you’re after, I’ll send you a quote and/or price list to consider.

CONFIRMATION: To confirm a commission, I’ll send you a link for full payment or a 25% deposit which will include the full brief and an estimated date of completion. You’ll get a confirmation and receipt for your deposit by email.

(This page is currently hidden so please don’t send it to anyone lol)

Commissioning work is a bespoke and fun way to get your dream art piece or a special gift for a loved one. Read through to find out the process and when you’re ready, email me HERE to get started!

STEP 3 - Making + Sending

Once your deposit is received, I’ll get to work! If I get to a point where I think more input from you would be helpful, or if I have any suggestions of my own I will email you.

When complete, you’ll get a link to pay the balance. , including pick-up in Central Auckland.

WHAT ARE YOUR LEAD TIMES?

This depends on many factors, but be sure to allow a minimum of 6 - 8 weeks for up to 3 stems just to be safe, and longer for larger commissions. You can indicated required dates - this is helpful for me. Before I accept any payment or deposits I’ll be clear what the estimated date of completion is :)

IS THERE A MINIMUM SPEND FOR COMMISSIONS?

One flower is as special as 10 flowers! So no…of course not.

CAN I COME TO YOUR STUDIO TO SEE YOUR WORK?

Honestly I don’t have very much work available to view at any given time because it finds new homes not long after completion! Currently I just have a lot of works in progress and empty vases…
