Sculpture created for my first solo show, ‘Tribute’, now on at Studio One Toi Tu in Ponsonby. It is hand made entirely of glass beads, copper and steel wire, paper and cotton.
The passiflora is the flower of the passionfruit plant. A very strange, otherwordly bloom with looping tendrils and an amazing blue central stamen. Adore them. The overall work is 200mm x 250mm but can be manipulated to sit however you like. The sculpture is made up of 3 individual stems and vines.
